I originally called to get an home insurance declaration page and casually mentioned I may be switching to another carrier for car insurance due to costs. Matthew asked questions accordingly and threw out that he could get me another quote to double check. He was concerned I may not have all the information about the quote I told him. Since I was already on the phone I figured it couldn't hurt to check. THANK GOD I CALLED! "My husband and I are relatively new to Seattle and therefore relatively new to State Farm Insurance, which insures both our house and our car. The former, the house, has been uneventful. The latter, however, has been the cause of great drama. In the middle of the night, just before Christmas, someone slammed into our parked car and totaled it. Nancy Pipinich and Karina Larrea could not have been more compassionate or more helpful. This was a very stressful time and their kindness and efficiency made a very depressing event survivable. We ended up with a barely used new car and then, wouldn't you know it, when the new car was parked in the YMCA parking lot, someone scraped the left fender and hi-tailed it out of there. Fortunately, a good samaritan saw what happened and left a note with the driver's license plate number. State Farm to the rescue once again ! Karina shepherded us through the claim process with, again, great compassion and efficiency. We are grateful and feel lucky to have such responsive agents on our side."
